This is the eight consecutive year that MOL Group offers graduates a unique opportunity to start their career at an international company, gain work experience under professional guidance and prove themselves in a cross-cultural working environment.


This strategic recruitment program is a continuation of the internationally awarded talent acquisition strategy of MOL Group. We offer more than 250 Growww group level positions from engineering, economist, IT, natural sciences to social sciences in 11 countries (Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Iraq, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia). This year a record number of 25 MOL Group’s companies are participating in Growww.

Additional info on Growww program:

Between 2007 and 2013, 1353 graduates joined MOL Group and they make up for 3% of the overall workforce of the company. After finishing a one-year program they continue their career at MOL Group’s companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Iraq, Italy, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. Some of them were appointed to their first managerial positions after 2-3 years, while others have started a specialisation process to become experts or specialists.

Last year a record number of 14 MOL Group’s countries took part in the Growww program: Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Italy, Romania, Pakistan, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Iraq, Oman, Russia, and Serbia.

After all Growwwers are on-board with September 1, Growwwers from all countries are invited for exciting Group Growww Onboarding Days where they have presentation about MOL Group culture, corporate vision/mission/values and current business activities in Exploration & Production and Downstream. On the second day all Growwwers had the opportunity to attend Group Exploration & Production Business Education Program that gave them insight into Group portfolio and activities by Group Exploration & Production managers. Group Exploration & Production Business Education Program is just one part of their development program called Business Education Program which consists of exciting site visit and interesting lectures by Group managers.

I’ve applied for the Growww program on the MOL website immediately when it started, not to lose the chance to get into it. The first challenge was a skill test, and then in the second round I had a personal interview. It was followed by my very first Assessment Centre, which I had worried about, but now I have only positive feelings about it as I learned a lot during this process. The next part was an interview again, and then I’ve received the desired notification: the MOL Group counts on me as a buyer in its fresh graduate program.
In the frame of the Growww program we can participate in business related lectures, site visits and meet colleagues from different business areas.  Not only do the professionals present, but we are also teamed up and need to prepare presentations on different topics.
Well, how does it feel like working here? It’s hard to cut a long story short, because it is various every day, new tasks do always come up. First of all I learned the operation of the organisation and the rules, then I took part in tender processes with my colleagues’ help. By now I am capable of managing the process by myself. I’ve learned not to be afraid of the challenges: with some research, thoroughness and knowledge sharing, we can always find a solution for any problem.
      


Zoltán Dani Reservoir Engineer
I started my career at MOL Group in 2006, at FGSZ Földgázszállító Zrt. Later my interest turned to the Exploration & Production division. I’ve spent 6 months at the drillings as a blue-collar.
Inspired by it I started to acquire another degree. Finishing it I applied for Growww2010 not only as a geologist, but also as a petroleum engineer.
I have found my place at MOL Group: I have started my new life at the Reservoir and Technology Engineering Organization. Currently I am spending my first year on the field, either by active drillings or by well-completion, whilst I am studying my profession’s crafts. I work in a 7+7 days’ shift, which means I work 12 hours a day for a week and then I have 7 days off. It happens sometimes that on my rest days I voluntarily go to see work processes I have never seen before. I have already worked both at -27˚C and +40˚C with heavy sunshine. One could say these work conditions are demanding. But in my opinion those who have chosen drilling as a profession needs to stand it first to be able to imagine and appreciate those colleagues’ work, who he as a future leader or planner of their work processes will be responsible for.   
The Growww program has been designed to enable the participants to become acquainted with each other’s job, which helps the integration.  Every colleague was open for our enquiries, we were encouraged to question, as there are no wrong questions, but those remain silly who don’t query.
