MOL exercised its call option with ÁPV Zrt.

MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Public Limited Company hereby announces that on 8 May 2006 it exercised its option right for 10,898,525 „A” series MOL ordinary shares with ÁPV Zrt (Hungarian Privatization and State Holding Company) based on the agreement signed on 1 December 2005. The purchase price is the weighted average price of MOL shares for 90 trading days on the Budapest Stock Exchange prior to 8 May 2006. The ownership of the shares will be transferred to MOL upon the transaction settlement.
