MOL's "May I Help?" Talent Programme amongst 'Sponsorships of the Year'

The Creative Communication Journal selected MOL's 'May I Help?' Talent Programme as one of the most successful donation programs of 2005. Within the scope of this program, MOL Plc. donated 34,750,000 HUF to hundreds of talented children.

The 'May I Help?' Programme was launched by MOL Plc. on February 8, 2005. And the Talent Nurturing Program's success surpassed all expectation. All together, 1126 schools, associations and individual applicants submitted applications on the areas of sports, liberal arts, natural sciences and arts.
The invitation was announced for Hungarian primary and secondary school pupils aged between 8 to-18 and teams, who excelled in national or international school competitions, and their professional growth needed support.
The applications were evaluated by a professional assessment panel. In the area of liberal arts, the assessment panel relied on the expertise of Elemér Hankiss, social scientist and Miklós Kun, historian, while in terms of natural sciences, Norbert Kroó, physicist, General Secretary of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and László Mérő, mathematician supported the decision-making process. The area of sports was represented by Tibor Nyilasi, Co-ordinator of the Recruitment Program of the Hungarian Football Federation and Katalin Kovács, Olympic athlete. Applications concerning fine arts were evaluated by Domonkos Héja, conductor and Imre Varga, sculptor.
