MOL Group further expands to Austria

MOL Group and Eni signed today a swap agreement to be concluded through simultaneous sale of 26 retail stations held by Agip Austria in Austria in return for 10 stations in Romania owned by MOL Romania.

In both countries the aim of the retail station exchange is the market share optimization and fulfilment of growth targets. The implementation of the swap will secure mutual benefits for Eni’s and MOL’s retail business operation both in Romania and Austria.

Following the successful closing of the transaction, Eni will operate 158 retail stations in Austria and 37 in Romania; MOL Group will operate 73 retail stations in Austria and 121 in Romania.
