MOL Pakistan, member of MOL Group is continuing its international scholarship program

MOL Pakistan, member of MOL Group, as part of its Community Development Program announces tender for intermediate and higher education students for the next semester in Pakistan, which is considered a key country for the Group.

MOL Pakistan, member of MOL Group plans to continue its Intermediate and Technical Scholarship for next session (2008-2010) for students belonging to Districts Karak, Hangu and Kohat of NWFP Province. This scholarship was broadened in 2007 for those higher education students who study at universities/ faculties which are related to MOL’s professional activities.

The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students who are bright but do not possess the necessary financial background. The number of scholarships catered by this company have been increased from 31 to 40,as from  this year 20 intermediate and 20 higher education students will have the chance to win financial support from MOL Pakistan for the upcoming session (2008-2010). Besides tuition fee, the scholarship covers boarding and lodging, as well as the cost of books.

During last few years MOL Group had expanded its activities which resulted in increase of labor demand, especially in the engineering field. At the same time it is getting more difficult to reinforce in this certain field, particularly oil engineers, geologists, mining engineers and aboveground facility operators. That is why MOL Pakistan and MOL Group decided to start programs which assure reinforcement of professionals on a long term.
