MOL as a main sponsor sets going Gábor Talmácsi at MotoGP

Gábor Talmácsi continues its career as a rider of Scot Racing Team MotoGP at the king category of motor sport, at MotoGP

The establishment of the financial background needed for the participation was made possible by the letter of intent signed by MOL, which ensures the appropriate level of financial support for the rider, dependent upon fulfilment of the certain conditions thereby paving the way of MOL possibly becoming the main sponsor of Scot Racing Team MotoGP.

During the preceding days’ negotiations Jorge Martinez “Aspar” – in line with his previous pledge – gave his approval to Gábor’s move. The new direction was indicated by the offer of the head of Scot Racing Team MotoGP, Cirano Mularoni, that make it possible for Talma to compete among the best. Today Honda has also given its blessing to Gábor becoming the full-fledged member of Scot Racing Honda Team and thereby removing all technical obstacles from continuation.

Gábor’s name is entered into the official start list of Gran Premi Cinzano De Catalunya, permitting him participation in the next 11 remaining races during the season.

About Scot Racing Team MotoGP

Scot Racing Team MotoGP and its manager FORCE SRL was founded by Cirano Mularoni and Giovanni Torri in 1992. The headquarters of the team is San Marino, while their technical department is in Cesena. Cirano Mularoni is the sole owner of the TECHIQUES SRL advertisement agency founded in 1987, which primarily specialized in motor sports. Giovanni Torri is the president of SCOT COSTRUZIONI founded in 1985, and the company primarily deals with technical developments. Since 1994 they race with HONDA. 

The most successful rider of the team so far is Andrea Dovizioso who served the team for 7 years onward from 2002, won a World Championship in 2004 in 125cc category and in the next 3 years he gained 3-2-2 positions in 205cc. Last year he achieved the fifth place at MotoGP. In 2009 he transferred to Repsol Honda from the team.

Gábor Talmácsi was already a member of the team in 2006 – in the so called Humangest Racing Team. Further riders were: Roberto Locatelli (Ita), Emilio Alzamora (Esp), Sete Gibernau (Esp), Simone Corsi (Ita), Mike Di Meglio (Fra).

The teamleader is the Italian Cirano Mularoni, who is considered as a great authority in his profession. Scot Honda MotoGP Team’s work represents maximalism which can be well seen already on the appearance of the team - which is immediately obvious for the outsiders, too – as well as they provide professional and technical conditions for its riders which make it possible to fight for the stage.

The two riders of 250cc team are: Hiroshi Aoyama who at present is second in the WC score and Raffaele de Rosa who is in the first ten as a newcomer. From today in king category beside Yuki Takahashi Gábor Talmácsi became a stable racer of the GP as the rider of Scot Racing Team.
