Health Protection and Promotion
In line with MOL Group’s HSE management system, health risks shall be assessed and managed by prevention and protection, employee information and education initiatives. In addition, a workplace health promotion programme called ’STEP – Take a step for your health’ was also introduced in 2006. According to MOL Group health management principles, we conduct health screenings for all of our employees based on a detailed screening protocol at least once a year (depending on the type of work). Besides this, we conduct screenings for health risk factors (such as diabetes, cholesterol, stool blood test, calculation of Body Mass Index (BMI), etc.) and elaborate an individual health plan for all of our employees.Individual health plans are a professional starting point, but we also offer special workplace health promotion programs to our employees, including medical screenings (cardiovascular package, cancer prevention package, musculo-skeletal package, vaccination programs), healthy life style advice, dietary advice, stopping smoking programs and a wide range of physical activity programs. At the Family Days organized by the company, the family members of our employees have the possibility to participate in health screenings for different health risks (diabetes, cholesterol, BMI, etc.) For our colleagues travelling to and working in countries with high risk or incidence of communicable diseases we conduct medical screenings before travelling and after coming back, and provide the required vaccinations as well.
