Green Frog Award

Deloitte Hungary announced the Central European Environmental Reporting Award, “CEERA”, commonly known as the Green Frog Award. The Award is granted to businesses from the Central and Eastern European regions, which prepare the best sustainable development report for the year concerned. In 2007 the sustainable development report of TVK received a diploma of recognition.

AmCham Healthy Workplace Award

The program of the American Chamber of Commerce related to healthy workplaces is targeted to formulate recommendations on how to create healthy workplaces and motivate employers to provide the necessary extras for this purpose, thus promoting the competitiveness of businesses and hence, that of the country. Applications were expected to present the efforts implemented mainly in relation to health care, health education/training and mental hygiene. TVK deserved the special award of the American Chamber of Commerce for the efforts the Company implemented in improving the quality of life for their employees.

Move Europe

MOL in 2007 won one of the awards given for health-friendly workplaces. Award winners were selected from the workplaces registered in “move Europe”, where key criteria included the health development model of the organisation at the workplace, health policy guidelines and efforts related to health. MOL achieved this recognition with the health development program at the workplace launched in September 2006, named STEP, which implemented attempts to commit workers for a healthier lifestyle.

Geothermal Resource Council Award

Geothermal Resource Council is one of the largest international geothermal associations of the World and their annual conference is one of the most significant events in the geothermal business. The Annual Meeting of 2007 was held in Reno-Sparks, Nevada in USA. MOL gave a presentation on its geothermal concept, which is a key element of MOL's renewable energy strategy. The title of the presentation was "New Approach in the Hungarian Geothermal Exploration". After the conference the GRC Board awarded the MOL presentation with Best Paper Award. They emphasized that a total of 109 papers were presented in the different categories, but MOL's geothermal concept is an approach to be followed.
