EVO Neo Drag Racing

How fast you can drive with a certain type of fuel also proves its quality, so it is not surprising that the premium fuel of MOL had been the name-giver of the official drag races that have been for years organized at Hungaroring. These competitions take place mostly at nights and offer many other programs as well.

The fans of velocity could make their dreams come true: they could officially compete with no speed limit. Anyone could enter and sit in a car or ride a motor bike if s/he thought s/he was good enough to leave the others behind. An official Drag Racing National Cup was announced for the first time in 2008. In addition to Hungaroring and based on the regulations set out by FIA, another secondary race venue was required where the quarter-mile (402.3 meters) race distance could be safely marked. Therefore, the airport in Kiskunlacháza was officially put in the race schedule. The new venue further increased the prestige and recognition of drag racing as a sport, because the elite of the international dragster field from Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, and Austria presented themselves on the quarter-mile distance.

Plenty of other programs, from slalom championship to motor bike parade, awaited fans during the events, thus providing truly extraordinary experiences both at Hungaroring and at the airport in Kiskunlacháza.
