The Majthényi & Domokos Sailing Team

MOL believes in nature and its power, thus for years it has sponsored competitors in sailing, and more specifically, the six-time world champion Szabolcs Majthényi & András Domokos Flying Dutchman sailing class team.

Their success is not surprising at all, because the members of this team, which has sailed together for nearly fifteen years, understand each other by taking a hint or a familiar gesture. In addition to the numerous World and European Championship medals, Szabolcs Majthényi and András Domokos also received a special award at the All Star Gala in 2005 for being the first world champions in Hungarian sailing. They could also bring home the Silver Sombrero in 2009, which they had already done before many times, together with their sixth World Champion title. The Silver Sombrero is a recognition given to a sailing team that finishes with the best result, in other words, with the fewest points possible, even including weak results.
