Our mission is to ensure the competitiveness of the products and of the production assets at highest capital efficiency possible within the Downstream Division of MOL Group.

Through a reliable forecast of the consumer expectations towards our products and through an independent and professional evaluation of the production capacity and efficiencies of our own production assets, we are pro-actively participating in the identification and implementation of the business opportunities on a continuous basis.

The goal of Downstream Development is to convert the growth and efficiency improvement initiations to business value creating projects. Relying on the economical-technical knowledge of our organization, we initiate both the adaptation of state-of-the-art production and logistics processes and the launch of innovative research and development projects.

From planning to implementing, we manage the projects in co-operation with our partner organizations.

We build on our achieved product quality leadership, while we develop bio-fuels/renewable energy resources and integrate them into our downstream value chain. By involving university connections we are participating in the implementation of research activities in areas fitting into MOL Group’s strategy.
