Moltrans Ltd. and Slovnaft Trans a.s.
Moltrans Tank Car Transportation Ltd. (founded in 1996) and Slovnaft Trans joint stock company (founded in 1994) are fully-owned MOL Group subsidiaries involved in the delivery of fuel by road to retail fuel stations and to the premises of the parent company’s customers.
In both companies, the Operational Organisation is responsible for insuring the most efficient operation of the road fleet in compliance with instructions specified by the Road Transport Management organisation of the parent company. One of the organisation’s key responsibilities is the recruitment and training of an optimal driver team and the dispatching of drivers in active co-operation with branch personnel in line with the company’s objectives.
The key responsibilities of the Technical Organisation include the procurement and maintenance of assets. Due to the geographically dispersed locations of the branches, a nationwide service network has been built with the involvement of subcontractors. Authorised parts and repair centres are an important part of this network and companies are evaluated on an annual basis to ensure continuous improvement. The most important peculiarities of the fleet are the measuring technology installed on semitrailers and its accuracy. In recent years, we have invested heavily in modern and reliable technology.
The Financial Organisation is responsible for economic efficiency, liquidity, financial- accounting transparency and the management of IT operations. It also works to insure compliance with parent company regulations.
The HSE Organisation focuses on health care, safe operations, environmental awareness to insure sustainability and also the development and continuous control of quality standards.
