What should you pay attention to?

When refueling, starting and operating a gas-operated car, special requirements need to be followed. Pay attention to these!

  • Cold start: At a temperature below 0 °C, difficulties can occur when starting the car. In this case start the car in gasoline mode. When the engine has reached operational temperature, you can switch to gas-operation.
  • Valves-cleaning: for those cars that have been converted to gas-operation, materials deposited on valves can cause problems. You should swap regularly between fuel and gas operation, and let the fuel clean the valves. Using fuel mode 20-30 times out of 100 will solve cleaning problems. Depositionng of materials can be hindered by using proper, low cinder content fuels.
  • Usage limits: do not drive your car to an underground garage, as it is strictly forbidden in Hungary. The reason for this is that proper ventilation of these establishments cannot be solved. In consequence, leaking gas which is heavier than air can gather slightly above the ground and there is a danger that the compound explodes.
