Chemically stabilized rubber bitumens

It was proven that blending bitumen with crumb rubber, which is produced from scrap tires, is not just a waste treating method, but an excellent solution to improve the performance of asphalt pavements compared to roads made of conventional bitumen. The application of rubber bitumen is most widely spread in the US, where the production of the rubber modified binder is in situ, close to the road construction.

Examination of new turbo-feed pumps construction for Power Plant boilers

Unit P4.1 Power Plant is situated in Refinery Slovnaft Plc. Power Plant main task is supply superheated steam (pressure levels 0.4, 1.0 and 3.5 MPa) and electric power to Slovnaft refinery. High pressure superheated steam is produced on five high pressure steam boilers with installed load on 780 tonns per hour. Electric power is produced on four steam turbines with installed power 114 MWe.
