The forthcoming obligations under REACH: pre-registration and PPORDnotification.

After st June 2008 no substances (above 1 tpa) can be manufactured and/or imported in the EU without being pre/registered. Since the submission of registration in 2008 is practically impossible, fulfilling pre-registration is crucial. ubstance manufactured or imported with the aim of product or process oriented research and development may be exempted from registration if the company submit a so called PPORD notification. The publication introduces the preliminary tasks, the ways how it will happen and aspects of the abovementioned obligations.
