How to calculate Mechanical Availability (MA)

The efficiency of a refinery is demonstrated by its availabilities (mechanical, operational, on-stream). The availabilities are depended on magnitude and type of the shutdowns.

The availability can be calculated for any unit. Three type of mechanical availability are calculated: monthly mechanical availability, cumulated mechanical availability, annual expected mechanical availability. The target MA can be planned for the next duration safely.
